And that's part of it! What is an SEO text? I actually loathe the word “SEO copy.” There is always something “dirty cheap” about this term. I think this is because when the term “SEO text” comes to mind, many people (including me) automatically conjure up a loveless text filled with an extremely large number of keywords that offers zero added value. Actually completely wrong! Basically, an SEO text is actually exactly what its name says: a search engine optimized text.

In other words: A text that is designed to be understood and considered good (also) by search engines like Google. But often what is meant by an SEO text. If you understand the term “SEO text” as exactly what it actually means, it becomes clear why the type of content is completely irrelevant. A product description, a press release, content marketing content, category text, etc. can or should be written by you in a way that the search engines can understand.
